This is in today's Scotsman. This is the new MacDonald, according to himself, but other branches are not impressed with his credentials. As always, the comments are at least as much fun as the article:

This made the British national newspapers as well. I read about this in The Independent. It's interesting but I have qualms over these archaic hereditary sytems. I'm not the biggest fan of US politics but I think that the Declaration of Independence got it right - how does it go,

"...all Men are created equal... Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed..."

Though I support Elizabeh II, I am in favour of eventually abolishing all forms of hereditary and feudal systems.
