| Thank you very much Paul. I have been trying to trace my husband's scottish roots but since his father was from Nova Scotia, I was only able to go back to the great great grandfather and then it stopped there because he was a baptist in Nova Scotia and we were forbidden any informations. If anyone has any information as to why the baptists do not share informations I would appreciate it and certainly will respect the reasons. It's just that I am curious. Nobody was inclined to tell us anything unfortunately in NovaScotia at the goverment archives department either.LOA |

| LOA Have you tried the National Archives in Ottawa? As to why the Baptist wouldn't say anything,maybe it has to do with the Privacy laws. Camac. |

| LOA Failing the National Archives there is also (if you haven't already tried) The Mormons. They have the most complete set of geneological records in the world. You name the person they can more than likely find them. Camac. |

| Hi Camac, I tried with the Mormons but on the web.I don't have much choice in restarting a search since it has been a long long time that we've looked. It was in the 90's in Nova Scotia. But I'll give it another shot.Thanks.LOA |
