Yeah! Maisky! My pups seem to like me pretty well. They like me better than hubby and he can't figure that one out because he is as good to them as me! But I am the mommy who does all the work (bathing, feeding, etc.,) so I guess that counts for something! Have you seen pictures of them in the avatar thread? Some of us posted pooch photos there. You should post one and let us see your vicious protector!
To hear is to obey or desert flower, lest I encounter thy thorns! It may take a few days to get a picture scanned in. I rush to obey!

Oh I am glad I caught you in time, Maisky! In chat today I found out that there is a dog thread in the "Special Interests" forum that I didn't know about. So that is where we are posting our pup portraits. I am going there now to put mine in. Anxious to see yours! And thanks for obeying!
Cailiosa is a Irish name that means "Girl of Jesus." I found it on a baby names website when I was helping my sister pick out potential baby names. I liked it and it stuck.

Your pups like you better than your hubby likes you? This is sad indeed, lass.

Elspeth is a character in my book, named after my - wait... searching the genealogy chart - great-great-great grandmother Elizabeth Logan who immigrated to America from Ulster Ireland in the very early eighteen hundreds. I saw Elspeth on a Scottish names site and decided my character's husband would call her that as his pet name for her. I liked the name and decided to use it here. Kinda fun to create a persona.

Compassion is the sometimes fatal capacity for feeling what it is like inside somebody else's skin. It is the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too. - Frederick Buechner
If society prospers at the expense of the intangibles, how can it be called progress?
