After 111 years of trying, the Irish Rugby team defeated the All-Blacks of New Zealand, 40-29! In Chicago before 62,000 fans, no less!

New Zealand have long been recognized (and deservedly so) as the pinnacle of rugby power. They have been the top ranked national squad for years. Ireland lost to them 24-22 in a game they should have won a year or two back. This is a sweet victory for the men in green!

How ironic that the Cubs break their 108 year streak of futility and Ireland breaks their 111 year streak!

Congrats to the lads in green! Kudos to Johnny Sexton, Jamie Heaslip, Conor Murray and the whole crew! What a great win!

I hope there will be a DVD made available of the match. This Saturday, they do it again. I am hoping for another Irish win, but no matter what, Soldier Field always remains!!

"The Stone Leaf Bar on Leeson Street in Dublin is offering its punters free drinks if Ireland manage to complete their second win in a fortnight against New Zealand at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday."

"The venue will show the match on various big screens throughout the venue following a build-up brunch, which starts at 11am.
Should Joe Schmidt's men beat the All Blacks for the second time inside a month, there will be a full hour of free drinks, with visitors encouraged to book tables early this week."
