A new individual has taken up residence in Medieval Kingdom. He is the Tax Collector! He shall make a visit tonight and thereafter every Monday.

The current tax rate is as follows:

Less than 5 Million, 5%
5 to 10 Million, 10%
10 to 15 Million, 15%
20 to 25 Million, 20%
Over 25 Millions, 25%

The tax rate is a yearly rate, so the actually weekly rate would be a weekly percentage (divided by 52).

There are two events that could happen rather than your taxes being collected:

1. Your weekly tax could be forgiven by Camelot. For this to happen you should have a post rating of greater than 90%. There will then be a 15% chance that your taxes will be forgiven each week.

2. The Tax Collector can be killed. There is a 10% chance this could happen. No taxes will be collected that week and Camelot will usually have a replacement tax collector in place the following week.

If one was so inclined, how exactly would we kill this collector? Will the same can't attack less than 75% of one's score rule still have an effect on this?

Thats a great idea. I've been throwing this idea around on the best way to Kill the tax collector.

Probably I think the best way is a direct attack on KingArthur's Camelot. If that happens then maybe the Tax Collector goes away for 2-3 weeks.

Of course, we need to build that part of the game. Before that happens, we have some experience values we need to assign to each member. Such as King's Favorability Rating, How happy your village people are, your armies health, etc.

So, I would invision that if you attack camelot there would be a chance you could kill the tax collector based on the strength of your army.

However, there is chance each week that the Tax Collector will be killed on his own!
