[SIZE=7][COLOR=DarkGreen]Hello all, Hello All, My name is Brendan Harrigan. I'm a second generation American. I'm a poet and a Musician however, my musical influences are more Americana (blues, jazz, folk) I know very little about the celtic history, or the music. I know I'm listening to it more then anything else these days and would love to learn some celtic guitar. I should say I'm not a schooled musician and I've learned all I know by ear. I am quite interested in learning more, and meeting some freindly souls along the way.
Glad you found us! Celtic Radio has some of the best Celtic music on the Internet and some of the nicest people, too!

Where to start? ahhh By saying Thanks to all you folks for the warm welcomes I'm not sure I'd be ready for a kilt so fast. But I'm particularly interested in some of the "truths" regarding Celtic History and about my own lineage. I do Have some questions Maybe someone here might know the answer to. I may be in the wrong forum so boot me out to another if needed. Is it true that the Scottish are/were at one time Irish tribes? Also Where Irish clans decendants of the Britons? I would never intentionally offend or insult anyone so pardon my ignorance about these queries.
