"A Celtic Christmas"

Well, the moment has finally arrived were we begin our Celtic Radio celebration of Christmas through our annual 12 Days of Christmas Giveways! Yes, we are a little behind our time in starting the fun this year, so we will play catch up over the next few days.

Currently we are playing a mix of Winter Solstice and traditional Christmas music on our Celtic Moon broadcasts. This music will play all of the way through to New Years.

Our yearly traditional "A Celtic Christmas" website theme and 24/7 Christmas music on Highlander Radio has been playing since thanksgiving and will continue through December 26th. A big hello to all of the new listeners we have heard from this month that have discovered us through our Christmas broadcast.

Starting today we will be celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas. 7 CDs, 3 Bumper Stickers and 2 Premium accounts will be given away every day until December 25th!

The contest will work in this way. We will post the CD or prize to be given away and then at some point in the day we will ask for the first person to respond to win the prize. Only 1 prize per person during this contest. Watch this thread for when we will be announcing the prize.

Here is the schedule of prizes, so you can plan ahead! smile.gif

12/15 - 2 Bumper Stickers
12/16 - 1 Celtic Radio Bumper Sticker
12/17 - Celtic Radio Premium Account
12/18 - Celtic Radio Premium Account
12/19 - Steve and Ruth Smith, An Appalachian Winter
12/20 - Dan DeSantis, A Celtic Christmas
12/21 - Heather Mulvey. Flowers from the Mountains
12/22 - Rogues & Wenches, Spirits
12/23 - Wicked Tinkers, Rant (special edition CD)
12/24 - Battlefield Band, Zama Zama
12/25 (12:00AM) - Irish Makeover

Merry Christmas!

Posted by: CelticRadio 16-Dec-2009, 04:58 PM
Flora and Jenny we will be mailing your bumper stickers out.

The part of the contest which is unknown is when we ask for someone to claim the prize, that could happen any time during the day.

Speak of which, we have another bumper sticker to give away. So, next to post its theirs. Just email us your snail mail using the contact form above right.

Can we add a year to our premium account if we win this?

Posted by: musicbox 17-Dec-2009, 04:53 PM
Faerydreamer, I think you can just hold on to it until your current account runs out. Then you can renew it for free using the prize.

Posted by: MacEoghainn 17-Dec-2009, 05:19 PM
I'm not sure where we stand but if no one has been awarded the premium account I'll claim it now.

Posted by: stevenpd 17-Dec-2009, 05:38 PM
I think you have to wait for a statement to the effect that the next person to post wins.

Ok, poor Killian was all stressed out today! biggrin.gif

Unfortunately for these contests you can only win 1 prize. Once you win that prize you are excluded from winning any more for that contest. We would hate to have one person win like 50% of the prizes, which I am sure would never happen here.

So, my apologies Wolfman unsure.gif

The Celtic Radio Premium coupon goes to Iolanda. Yes, you can use these any time, they never expire. Simply wait until your renewal date (cancel your paypal subscription) and then apply the coupon to the sign-up page.

Will email you the coupon code Iolanda!

BRRRR its 15 degrees here in Boston and going down to 5. I here snow is on the way. Somebody send me to Florida! biggrin.gif

You can come to California where it is a balmy 50 degrees F if you don't mind the insanity. Although it does get fun watching all the looneys.

This is a shameless plug for two friends who have a great Xmas CDs (along with some non-Xmas Cds) in the vein of Celtic music. They used to be a duo but have gone their separate ways but their Xmas CD is quite nice I think.

www.arianelydon.com and www.jemmoore.com

Anyone who lives in Wisconsin or the surround states; Ariane plays often and is remarkable to hear and watch. Jem, I haven't heard that much about lately, I think he's living in AZ and he occasionally performs live I'm sure.

Anyway, I like their music.
