Hey Avonlea22! It was a real treat to see your photos and especially of Albannach. thank you so much for sharing. You are very lucky in that you get to see them play live. I have yet to do so, but one day I hope it will happen.
Thanks for posting those pictures Avalonlea they are wonderful.
Hey there natwilaniwartri! Its good to see you here. I think I was there too on the day they decided to move on and and I must say it's been a fantastic thing for them. I wish them all the luck in the world....
Albannach is certainly a great group! Cool website too- the radio function lets you enjoy several of their songs for free. I amd glad to have found it.
Albannach just finished up their spring/summer tour and took the US by storm! They will be performing at Grandfather Mt. in July... hope to see some of you there.
Just purchased my very own copy of Albannach's brand-new cd from their website. Thanks to Highlander Radio for the head's-up
Has anyone heard the new cd yet? Can't wait for it to arrive

"There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, and the sea is asleep, and the rivers dream. People made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, somewhere else the tea's getting cold. Come on, Ace; we've got work to do!"--Doctor Who, "Survival"
In case anyone was wishing to see the photo's, I've updated to a new album. The links within my posts are no longer valid, but my signature points to the correct location.
Darn it! I checked out the myspace site and now I've become addicted to myspace sites. I covered so many myspace pages in the last two days of all the celtic bands I like that I may never listen to pop or rock music again. Like that's a bad thing. Albannach has been one of the coolest ones I've seen. I will be getting this album sometime but I've got 3 tuxes to pay rental fees on for my brothers wedding first. Maybe some day they and Barley juice will hit Irishfest. Please?
