That's a tough one, since my family complains that I never sit through a DVD. I get up and down and just catch bits and pieces. And the sad fact is that I can't remember the name of the last one I watched. It had an Irish theme.
What was the last sporting event you attended?

Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost. -- John Quincy Adams
Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more, you should never wish to do less - Robert E. Lee
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved - Romans 10:13 (KJV)
The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble, and he knoweth them that trust in him - Nahum 1:7 (KJV)
Well, considering that I loathe sports, it should come as no surprise that the last sporting event that I attended was a high school football game back in 1982.
When was the last time you went for a walk in the woods all by yourself?

'S i Alba tìr mo chridhe. 'S i Gàidhlig cànan m' anama. Scotland is the land of my heart. Gaelic is the language of my soul.
Last fall in my backyard--its more of a climb than a walk though.
When was the last time you spoke with a family member who lives far away?

God then made man. The Italians for their beauty. The French for their cuisine. The Welsh for their voices. The Germans for their cars. And on and on until He looked at what He had created and said, "This is all very well, but no-one is having fun. I'll have to make an Irishman."
Infact the members of my family whom I know are all quite close to where I live, then the farer away is my grand-father and I spoke with him 5 weeks ago.
What was the last thing which has really deeply touched your heart?

Please forgive my mistakes, i've finallly decided to take part in forums, especially in "Fun N Games" to begin; but my english isn't very "sure"... Then, don't hesitate to rectify or ignore a post which is meaningless!

I received an email yesterday from a lady who I used to teach in school many years ago. She is now married with a wonderful family. She had gotten my email address and just wanted to thank me and my wife for the influence we had on her in her teenage years. Makes life worth living!
In a sense, I'm not really ever in it as I live in the country and work in a medium-size town, but I did take a day off a few weeks ago. The last time I got away was in March when I went to my Dad's house to spend time with him and with my sister and two of her kids who were visiting.
Realizing that I can have a life again with someone special...finding a soul mate twice in one life?????
What was the last thing that you ate?

]AN EXCERPT FROM A POEM THAT I WROTE ON 10/11/07
WE CAN'T CHANGE WHAT WE HAVE DONE.... BUT ONLY TAKE A LESSON FROM EACH EXPERIENCE AND MAKE THE MOST OF EACH MINUTE THAT WE HAVE LEFT AND TELL OURELVES THAT IT IS OK TO LIVE, LAUGH AND CRY..... PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE ALL WORK TOGETHER TO GIVE US WHAT WE CAN AND SHOULD EXPERIENCE AND WE NEED TO CHERISH ALL OF THE TIME THAT WE SPEND WITH OURSELVES AND OTHERS MAKING THE MOST OF THE SPECIAL MEMORIES THAT ARE OURS.. AND THE ONES THAT WE HAVE YET TO CREATE WITH THE PEOPLE THAT WE HAVEN'T MET!!!!![/SIZE]
