Hi Group

Just wanted to advise our US users of something of importance to tume into if you can. Right now the tax group that has been petitioning congress is having a protest today (Nov 14, 2002) in DC. They are also having this as a webcast where you can tune in and watch the protest unfold. Also today at 2PM they are giving the government their chance to respond to this petition. Either they will uphold their oath and respond or they will ignore this petition yet again and violate their oath yet once again. Watch it for yourself watch how the government responds to this protest. Will they be there or not?

Also get this the group started out on west coast and drove east growing in size and I guess DC police had orders to try and stop this protest today as the group had this update on the site

Washington DC Police Attempt to Derail Drive

DC police and helicopter arrived at Fredrick, MD at about 7:00 a.m. local time and attempted to halt the drive. After some negotiating, all 600 vehicles were permitted to continue along route 66 into DC

Well ask expected at 2:00PM today the current speaker at that time asked if any member of government or their representatives would like to step forward and reply to this petition and no one showed up. At 2:45 Bob Schultz (head of the group holding this protest) got up and asked once again and still no one showed up to reply to this petition. And by end of webcast at about 3:30 - 3:35 not even one member showed up or sent his/her representative to give any sort of formal response to this petition for redress of greivances. Hence the government has once again ignored it's Constitutional duty to answer the peoples petition for redress of greivances.  ::reallymad

Yeah pretty much I guess. But when a body of peole have sworn to upholdsomething which in this case includes the peoples right to petition for redress of greivances and then ignores that oath to me it's no better then treason.
