| Next Friday morning I will be waking up in SCOTLAND!! I can hardly believe it..... in 5 days I take off on my trip of a life time. I am packed...except for closing the lids on the suitcases. I have everything ready to go. My friend Hughie is meeting me at the airport dressed in his kilt. My athlete friends are waiting for my arrival at the Shotts Highland Games on Saturday June 1st. I can hardly sit still, I am so excited. I have lots of film...for the still camera and the video and 3 super discs for the digital camera. I have my journal ready to jot down EVERYTHING. |

| Thats wonderful Shortbit! Am so happy for you! Your will need to keep us updated on your trip - if you can! How long are you going and do you plan on attending any of the Highland Games they have over their? |

| I will be staying 2 weeks and plan to attend the Shotts Highland Games on Saturday June 1st. I have made friends with several of the competitors on the internet and am looking forward to seeing the games, the dance and band competitions. I am going to be keeping a journal and will have lots of pictures!! |

| I'm sure you will have soo much fun! I envy you that you can go so soon... I have to wait some longer... och, well, have fun and I wish you a very good & save journey! And watch out for midges, Craig (my boyfried) says that they are very thirsty this year. Let me give this to you on your way, an Irish blessing, but I think it fits (also in Scotland)  May the sun shine bright on your joyous days And the rain refresh you through peaceful nights May summer show you God's wondrous ways And prepare you for heaven's grand delights. |
