Geez, I leave for a couple of years and everyone has gone to ground. Well I have a question for everyone: WHERE CAN I GET AN AKC BLACK IRISH WOLFHOUND MALE? Anyone out there know??????

Not sure where to get that particular dog, but to answer your question...I don't know where everyone is. I've been over a year since logging in. Thought I'd pop in a say Happy St. Patrick's Day to anyone paying attention.

The old timers are still out there. I think that facebook is the standard now a days for social networking. When we started out, facebook was something that only college kids used.

Still, we have more listeners then ever, so I guess we got to promote it a bit more.

Facebook is nothing but a badly written comic book, but then again I do like to stir up trouble there every once in a while. Some habits die hard and they are so easy to stir up. Anyway, I'm back to stay and don't intend to dissapear again.
If you have a link you would like me to add the my website PM me with it and it's done. No problem, my link shows on my postings. Being a bit off the wall look and make sure you want to be linked with it. partytime.gif partytime.gif

I'm here. Happy St. Patrick's Day! I wish I could be here more. I miss you guys and the music. But since we moved to the country we have limited internet access. Maybe someday soon we will have good internet.

Happy St patrick's Day to all!

Facebook has become the way many people keep up with family and friends. Don't get me wrong, Zuckerberg can kiss my you know what (mostly because I'm jealous), but as my life has become totally cluttered with busy busy, Facebook has saved me countless hours in communication not to mention reconnecting with old friends I may have never thought of again. The Celtic Radio page on Facebook may account for the burgeoning listenership if site participation has dwindled. walkman.gif

Correct me if I'm wrong (that would be a great surprise, duh!) but, wasn't it one year ago yesterday, 3/17/2010 somewhere around 10AM the a record was set with most users on line? Something like 520 or more?
Oh the good old days. I think I'll put a call out on FB and she how much trouble I can stir up..... ph34r.gif

I blame farmville and castleville. If it wasn't for those two time wasters I don't think I would be on facebook more than five minutes a day. Think I'll throw some video up on CR website. That tends to draw them in.

I signed up for Facebook, figured out how it worked and thought "This is it????" I mean it works but I was rather disappointed after all the hype. Anyway I dropped it because I do not like the idea of everyone using a single service that you must log into and they can keep all your conversations for life if they want. WAY too much power in way too few people's hands.

As an "enforcer" from a country that uses creative interrogation techniques was quoted "What we used to torture people for we get for free on Facebook"

Facebook definitely resulted in alot of people using that software as their social network and we did lose alot of that traffic.

We are in the midst of alot of different things we are working on to promote our community, including Bridget O'Malley - a gal from North Carolina that is going to be helping us with some on air mentions.

You might have noticed some of the changes like on our front page. We will be featuring 60 members a month.

Hopefully our work will be completed in a number of weeks and see if we can get some of the traffic back! smile.gif
