Peasant Group: Celtic Nation Posts: 2 Joined: 29-Nov-2003 Zodiac: Birch	Hi I'm looking for the names of the following artists and the titels of their CD's (if they have made any) : these are the violin players form Lord Of The Dance . I have searched the internet but couldn't find any info about these two women or any cd's with their music or music from Lord Of The Dance. If you get the idea what I'm looking for please post the CD-titles / artist names. Music similar to that of the violin players from LOTD is also welcome. tia Trox ;)

I dont like vocals or realy slow music, tr� fhidil� which you can listen to on Mairead Nesbitt's site is more my kind of tune Sorry for all the questions but I'm really new to this genre

I like all of their recordings but their second CD, "Otherworld" is still my favourite.

Fionna Ritchie is a great source of background info, news, interviews, and links to the websites of a host of great Celtic music. As for good fiddle playing, try Catriona MacDonald from Shetland. Her latest cd is titled Bold and is available from compass records. She is currently part of the "Blazin Fiddles" project. Some of the best players around right now. Although there is so much talent in the Celtic arena that I think it might be hard to say that one is better than any other. Enjoy, Paul
