Come gather round
Whilst a tell you a tale
About some good folk
And whence they all hale.
There's the Scots and the French
The Irish and Yanks
Hispanic, Italian even some Turks
And lets not forget
Those Crazy Canucks.
They gather each day
And into the night
To think of ideas
Of which they then write.
They tell of their Families
Their Home and their Life
Of Joys and Sorrows
And sadly some strife.
They uses funny names
Some stranger by far
They do this for fun
Not to hide who they are.
And one thing you'll find
With all of these folk
They truely do Love
A really good Joke
I know I've forgotten
I'm sorry to say
To name all the places
From whence they all hale.
I hope I'm forgiven
I meant nary a slight
I'm just an Old Poet
Who Loves to Write.
