(Recently I revised “Scotland Bound”, and so I posted it again, I hope you don’t mind, and I do hope you enjoy it).
Thanks, JC

Scotland bound, Scotland bound
Have searched the world, and I have found
No grander land of history
No grander land of mystery
So raise a dram and drink with me
For Scotland’s where I’ve longed to be
Though beautiful the world I found
So grand the land, I’m Scotland bound

Scotland bound, Scotland bound
Though beautiful the world I found
Can’t cut the ties that tether me
Can’t cut the ties of family
So raise your voice and sing with me
For Scotland’s where I’m soon to be
Though beautiful the world I found
No grander the ground, I’m Scotland bound

Scotland bound, Scotland bound
Have seen the world and I have found
No grander land of bravery
No grander land of majesty
So raise a glass and drink with me
For Scotland’s where they’ll bury me
Though beautiful the world I found
So grand the land, I’m Scotland bound

Well now -- that needs to be set to music, JC, and then we have to get Charlie Zahm to sing it.

That would be a good song for Albannach to do- pipes and drums!

I like it! We need to get some music a-flowing, some drums a-beating and some people a-singing!

Excellent, the poem draws you in and you feel the yearning and passion for home. Good job.

I'll be Scotland bound ,when the dollars are found!

I'll fly over the sea , me mate and me,

We'll learn the lore of what went before,

Well here the sound of scotland bound.

Yikes, I just got back from the bank. $1.66 per Euro!! I'd write a poem but I'd start to cry too much.!!
