I agree that women, for the most part, have a higher threshold for pain. Not in our house, though. Angela can't handle any kind of pain (she was 'lucky' enough to have needed a C-section with both kids). She's a much bigger wimp than I am, and I'm a hyper-sensitive (ADD). I've seen that girl lying on the floor, saying, "How am I going to have kids?!?", and about to pass out because she cut her thumb when she missed a vegetable. She was seriously on the verge of being delirious. laugh.gif

You know as for injuries I can deal with them pretty well. Even when my husband is hurt I can deal with it. But you let one of my children get hurt and I really have to put on my poker face to deal with it. If I am having to patch one up, I have to hide my shaking hands and then when they are in another room I can give in.

My son, he has stiches with out the shots to numb it prefere it that way even as a little boy he would do it that way. He has almost cut one of his fingers off didn't cry. Had 14 stiches in his head not a whimper. Now mom here almost passed out on that one when the Doctor said " Well Devin I can see your skull". Put me on a chair head between my legs and got the smelling salts out they did!

Harlot;

My Dad was like that. Cut himself really bad once with a rip saw. Need 18 stiches to close, no needle. Before he went to the Doc to get it sown up he poured half a bottle of aftershave on it. Didn't even whimper. Had me yelling just watching. Some kind of Macho thing I guess.

I'm a guy, so I pee standing up. And when I get up during the night to relieve myself, I turn the light on.

What a macho thing to say MDF3530 sorry for the crude language but if I may ask.
What is it you do when a job #2 pooh.gif is needed? Do you do it standing up? I guess not. So, what's the big deal with peeing just sitting on the throne and have the toilet seat where it belongs...down with no mess. whistling.gif that way you can enjoy yourself and take your time either reading some comic books or the homehardware catalog. naughty.gif

Where it belongs? There are rules for this? The word SEAT pertains to SIT. If I don't need to sit I don't NEED aseat! If you need to sit, put the seat down. I won't do it for you. Simple.

Actually, vision isn't a female strong point. Women have better peripheral vision, but Men have a keener spatial vision. Better perception and focus. It's biology that owes itself to the hunting vs. protecting/caring aspect of our former world.

I guess that explains why some women have eyes in the back of their head.

Is that why men practically break their necks to get another look? I think women have way better perception and focus. After all how can we do 3 things at one time, and men have to focus on one thing?

Sisterknight;

You can laugh if you want but my Mother and my ex both had eyes in the back of their heads. They must have because they saw things that were impossible to see because they happened behind their backs.
