Oooohh . . .I know Pittsburghese. You're right -- it IS different.

What is really mystifying to me is "General American English." What in the world is that? Probably a product of broadcast media news anchors, who are supposed to speak "middle American." Our British friends refer to their analogue as "pure BBC." smile.gif
