I need to correct myself. My last post I wrote:

Second, most people would probably get a big surprise if they looked at current US and state laws about who the militia actually is. (not the National Guard).

I should have said (not just the National Guard).

Patch,I appreciate the shooting skills. I bought a used .22 rifle when I was 18, much against my mother's objections. I learned to shoot by putting food on the table during my Dad's 7 year absence. We survived, I learned the truth about gun control and 35 years later I still have that .22 rifle.

I wont get on my rant about the de-evolution of common sense and it's replacement by Professional Victim-ism.

It seems I am in good company here, which is a good thing.

First it amazes me that well educated people can have so much trouble with plain English and critical thinking. The Bill of Rights contains other references to "the people" (Articles1, 2, 9 and 10) which are never in danger of being misconstrued to mean anything other than belonging to the individual people.

Second, most people would probably get a big surprise if they looked at current US and state laws about who the militia actually is. (not the National Guard).

Till the day I die,I will hold the Second Amendment as an individual right, and as the guarantee of the balance of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Last if Rosie ODonnel or Diane Feinstein ever start to make sense with anything they say or do, I hope a meteor lands on my head!

When the weather gets really bad and people with sense are heading to the basement, I go outside and watch the storm.

Red tailed hawks are common around here and have always been a joy to watch. Wish I could fly like that!

Add a very strong connection to my Blackfoot ancestors to get Stormhawk.

I was born in 1955.

This is a fun topic. Quite interesting.

I guess its time for an introduction. I have been an occasional listener to Celtic Radio for a while but had never looked at the forums.

So here I am, a bit over the half century mark but still going strong, learning how to use an online forum. All this because I enjoy music in general and Celtic flavored music in particular... and bagpipes, polka, Native American, Appalachian and Ozark mountain music and even some Classical music.

So far I like what I see in this forum so will stick around for a while.

Hope I have done all this right.
