New Ranking System

Well, I thought it might be time to spruce up the board a bit with some new graphics, layouts and features. This next enhancement is to our ranking system. We are retaining our original ranking system, but have added further rankings up to 600 posts.

When your journey starts at the Highlander Radio forum, you are a simple Peasant in the land of Scotland. Work your way up the ladder (by posting to the forum) and become the King or Queen of Scotland.

Once you become royalty (at 250 posts), a new option will appear in your control panel to customize your title to anything you want!

But don't think your journey has ended there! Have you heard of the Seven Celtic Nations? (See the map on next post) Fortify your legacy by conquering each Celtic land. As you progress through the different lands you will earn a crown and flag (of each nation) in your profile. At 600 posts you will become the King (or Queen) of the Celts and receive a gorgeous red and gold crown. Or if you wish to remain a member of a particular Celtic nation (and display that nations flag on your profile) just let us know and we can move you to any of the 7 Celtic Nation member groups!

Here is the breakdown of the new ranking system:

#    - Rank
00   - Peasant
25   - Servant
50   - Clan Member
75   - Honored Clan Member
100 - Chieftain of the Clan
125 - Braveheart Member
150 - Knight of the Round Table
200 - Guardian of Scotland
250 - King of Scotland
300 - Duke of Cornwall
350 - Lord of the Isle of Man
400 - Duke of Galicia
450 - High King of Ireland
500 - Lord of Brittany
600 - King of the Celts

And here are the flags and crowns you will earn:







For our current members who have exceeded 600 posts, we can move you to any of the 7 Celtic Nations or to the prestigious "King/Queen of Celts" crown.

We will be providing more information on the board about the 7 Celtic Nations and this will be located in our "Celts" forum.

Well I was testing it for Paul because it was resetting me to a different group each time even though I had choosen Scotland as my main Kingdom being I have reached the high mark long ago so can choose my own kingdom to rule from. But it kept changing me bacvk to the default so Paul fixed it and I was testing it out.

Aye sliding down from chieftain to servant. Which warrior lady woulld suffer that with good grace lol. But at this rate wonder where will I be in summer hehe. Nae mind the ranking lol, still a good forum

well Mac you are now, Knight of the Eternal Light, isn't that a step down from King.  Or is it when you get a 1000 posts you get a halo?

Well, the Knight of the Eternal Light seem to fit me better than King. Actually I ran across a website with that title that gave me the idea.

oh, and Flower, I've reset your ranking to Chief when you post the next message. Actually, anyone that was demoted because of the new ranking system can request to be returned to their previous level under the new ranking system. Just send me a note!

I had a bigger fall than you. I slid down from Guardian of Scotland to Honored Clan Member. I had to point that out to Paul before he restored my status. Cheers and Happy New Year!

I adore all of the new features! I have been offline for a couple of weeks with a very ill computer! I finally had a very dear friend to look it over and give her a "worm treatment" that seems to have solved the problem!

I think when Paul gets 1000 posts, he should be dubbed Knight of the Holy Grail (ala Indianna Jones)
