Well that was better than the commdore 64 deserved. We thought about using ours, as a boat anchor. Instead son took it down to the basment, where he petted it ever so often, it responded with a funky scroll to show it's pleasure.  It and the 8088 got donated to a school, so the class could learn about the guts of computers. It is probably jewlery, on some kid, now.

Your posts bring back fond memories of our Commodore 64. I miss my fav C-64 game - Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe! My friends and I played that darn game for three days straight when we were all college students - each of us would take a turn , then print out our progress at the end of each session - we wound up on several space ships, flew across the galaxy, had coffee with Loyd the Paranoid Droid - it was great! I wonder if there will ever be a version of the game with actual graphics on it?

BTW - that looks like a photo of me whenever I am attempting to remove the Kleg Worm from my computer and it says to "Hit Any Key!!!"
