I am a Highland piper, bodhranist/percussionist, and vocalist with Mad Haggis. We strive to bring any instrument into our tunes that seem to add flavor without sacrificing "tradition." We use electric guitar, sax, congas, djimbe, and didgeridoo along with the more traditional instruments. I see this as a trend as well in the greater Celtic music world. So, my question is; how do you feel about this? Are you a purest or are you open to such progress?
