Ever wonder what might happen if a really large meteor hit the Earth? Just how big a "rock" would it take to wipe us out? If you are really curious to check out different possibilities, then this site is for you. You can change all the major variables (size, speed, density, distance from impact site, angle of strike, density of "target") to whatever strikes your fancy and then calculate the results. Everything from virtually no effect to the Earth breaks up.
I dunno. I messed and messeed with it but only endedup with 3rd degree burns. I did manage to tilt the axis completely, though. Does that mean southerners are the yankees now?
If something like that does happen, we're already prepared. All we have to do is send up Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Michael Clarke Duncan, Owen Wilson and Steve Buscemi .

May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
I tried everything to destroy the earth but to no avail. I even hit it with a projectile bigger than the sun and it still said that the earth lost neglegable mass. But, the orbit and rotation were screwed up! Hehe! It blowed up! It blowed up real good! Now for 5 celtic points, name the TV show that was from.
I gotta credit research skills not knowledge on this on but SCTV. Which I havent seen in a dogs age. Oh yeah I couldnt get Earth to blow up but I did get me skin to melt at 5000Km.
