My name is Haldur (Josh) and I have not posted on Highlander Radio for a long time! I was introduced to Highlander Radio by the great and wise Aaediwen. But sadly, I have failed to post anything of great worth on the site for a long, long time. I have been meaning to get back with this great community of artists, music lovers, and writers (just to name a few) just like myself and now is the time! I was introduced to this site about a year ago by my good friend from work, Aaediwen, and ever since he has helped to keep me grounded in Celtic music!
I am a musician. I play guitar and sing mostly but also dabble in piano, mandolin, harmonica, percussion, and am interested in delving into the world of dulcimers!
I am a writer. I am always working on fictional and non-fictional pieces and I have to say that this past year has been fairly productive with the exception of a couple of fall backs. But hey, isn't that what love is all about, growing?
I am an artist. I draw, paint, carve, sculpt, and create digital images. Life is never complete without all of these creative activities!
I am 23 and enjoy my life very much. I aim to record my music, publish my works of fiction, and display my artwork for others to experience! I feel very blessed in this realm and very blessed to have a loving and supportive family which starts with my beautiful wife, Sarah! Thank you all for being here!

Welcome to all of our newest members! I've been offline for almost 2 months now due to computer problems, so I'm a little behind in welcoming everyone! I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do! The past two months have been pure misery for me! I've missed keeping up with all of my buddies here!
Anyway, we're so glad you decided to join our growing family here! Come back and visit with us often!

Welcome back Haldur! It's nice to meet you. I love your avatar, by the way.
Best of luck with the dulcimer. I've always loved the sound of that instrument, and would love to learn it myself, along with the violin and bagpipes. Maybe someday.
Haldur, how can you keep all those different instruments and how to play them straight? You must be very talented to be doing all of those things. Welcome back! And Welcome to all the new members!!

New to Celtic Radio. My name is Wes Wright, and I am from California. I perform with several bands from the Ren faires in California namely the Poxy Boggards and the Belles Of Bedlam. I play the guitar, arrange music and enjoy a good beer. I have joined to enjoy some new celtic music, and meet some new folks. I will be submitting the Belles Of Bedlam debut CD called "Who's Your Sire" to Celtic Radio very soon. We do a really great version of "Black Velvet Band" that is quite a bit different than most that I have heard. You can check us out on CD Baby. Thanks, and I look forward to talking with you all.

Hello! So glad to have found this place! I never really listened to Celtic music outside of what they play on Thistle and Shamrock every week, but I just stumbled over Emerald Rose yesterday, and now I'm in love. Your radio station is just awesome. Thanks so much for a really great service!
Heather
