The wedding has come and gone.  I think it went without a hitch! No, problems... except when we went to bruch the following morning, in the hotel. To our surprise our WEDDING CAKE was on the dessert table!!!! Couldn't believe it! They were like" no one said that you wanted to keep it...."  We did however, get to take home the white portion of the cake.
It really is quite funny... I think so anyway...
But the weather great, reception was a BLAST! One #### of a party! Lot of Killians ( it's all we could get) was consumed that night! LOL!!!

We, are out of the States on Thursday. We'll be back the end of April. So, incase I haven't the chance to get back on, I hope everyone has a a nice couple of weeks!
Talk to everyone soon

 :)

Congratulations!!!!!  From a HAPPILY married guy, there's really nothing better or more fulfilling... except possibly finding a Guinness truck abandoned on the side of the road.  Have a happy and safe trip, and we'll be here when you get back.
:D

Its just not fair! Last year Maggie went to Scotland and did not take me! Now you are going to Scotland, and I am stuck here in the States! I am very small, I could fit into the luggage compartment above the seat...I would only eat saltines and those little bags of airline peanuts....no one would ever know I was there.....take me with you puuuuuhhhhhhhhllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaseeeeeee!

:D

Aw, just send me a post card if you think of it!  :D  :p    :;):

That's right - it was Shortbit! I remember now, sorry Maggie. I bet you will take me with you when you go , right? (hint, hint)

Wait until the newlyweds begin their family - that is when we all turn into our own parents and say those things we always said we would never say to our own children.  It is part of that curse that all parents put on their chilren - one of these days you are going to grow up and have children who act just like you!

If I am half as cool as my parents, I will be just fine. :)

They are truly the coolest.

I will talk to eveyone in a couple of weeks. Be good, or at least good at it... :D

Funny you should say that! I don't know if they still insure their beer now, but when I was a kid Coors ads said always chilled. They would insure all delivery tansports were refrigerated. There was a train wreck one night close to our home, though it wasn't in my dad's rail district, he was called in and told to bring any one he could find. One of the men my dad took, was my 16 year old brother. One of the cars on this train was filled with Coors Beer. In the wreck, the power had gone out and the beer got warm. When informed of their products' and rail car's condition they said bury it.  My brother had a great sence of where he was at, marked the spot and develop a great fondness for Coors.  He was very popular party guest.

For me, it would be an abandoned Corona truck and next to it, an abandoned truck carrying limes. Yum :D  :p   !
