QUOTE (Nova Scotian @ 11-Aug-2006, 09:23 PM) | QUOTE (CelticCoalition @ 11-Aug-2006, 09:08 AM) | According to cnn.com today, the discovery of the terrorist plot in britain to distroy trans atlantic flights into america came from a tip from the Muslim community.
I Muslim tipped off British police. This tip led to the arrest of 20+ terrorists bent on mass murder.
From what I've heard in reports, the terrorists weren't on the planes yet but were very close to executing their plans.
I find it interesting that someone associated with the Muslim community, a community often branded with a belief in a religion of violence and hatred towards all americans, saved who knows how many lives. |
Well like I said before not all Muslims are terrorist but all these terrorist were muslim.

Well, this incident does provide a capital opportunity, if one stays open to it: who were the 20+ people, and who was the tipper? If you can analyze the subgroups and individual identities for motives, you can avoid blanket condemnation. Granted, it's a little more work than just counting raw numbers and coming up with a statistically dicey conclusion along the lines of "20 muslims to one wanted to down those planes." |
