You have to research the appropriate technologies before you can recruit soldiers. You have to research militia training before you can recruit militia, etc.

But remember you need to train and do research, and get workers to get you gold and food and wood.. cause you need to build your buildings, and get yourself set up that way, cause it costs gold to get your army plus you need to feed them too.

I am still not sure what i am doing.. but i knwo the help files don't really help alot..

the more you spend, 8 out of 10 times you will bring in more then 10 workers, to work for you

If your not making money fast enough then do more research on mining
and get more workers to mind

and so on for food and wood

Thanks for everyone posting their issues, learning curve and ideas. While we may not respond to each post, we will be examing this thread in detail once the time comes to make some enhancements and changes to the system.

If there is a quick fix we can do to make things better, than post it here.

This is pretty good stuff. I have only been in twice to-date and things are rolling along better. I will spend some more time at home getting my little piece of the world pumped up. You have to spend to recruit, train, build --- so collect GOLD!!!! Aye......

Does anyone know why my Castle View changes? I am not "choosing" new Castles. For example, I had chosen Chatsworth as my Castle at the beginning of this game; the last few times I have Logged into the Kingdom, the Castle View was Warwick now it is Garnstone???? Are these possible clues for upcoming attacks????? Hmmmm...

I could easily be wrong but my guess is your castle changing is just a small bug in the game.

I been seeing lots of little bugs, but they are not always there..

Like it saids i own 2 gold mines, i do
then it will say i own none
then 3
then one time 33
for one example

and then gold not showing up

and then 2 times bought something and it didnt take the gold... i thought that was cool, but it was just 100 gold..

my army 3 disappeared for a awhile then jusr popped back in there lol

theres a bunch of other things too


and now the 60000 in gold.... that i want back dang it.. i also have it copied from the recent news too so i have proof...

We will fix that castle issue if you can confirm it is still changing or is anyone else having that problem?

Again, any issues or bugs will be looked at in the future. Consider too your browser cache might be causing these issues too. Make sure you clear the cache before you play the game.

Keep on playing though because once the auction starts it will be those with the most gold and score than can win booty!

Just logged into "The Kingdom" & the Castle below "The Most Powerful Kingdoms" is Eaton; however, it does not show the Castle it has a square with a red x inside of it. The Castle (Chatsworth) is correct , which is located at the bottom page of my Profile. Anyhow, just an FYI. Thanks.

Browser cache issue.
Go to that page, then hit CTRL-F5 to "reload page ignoring cached data"

Agreed. I just went over the code for the castle selection and it seems to be working properly. The next thing to look at would be your browser cache and also firewall, security and virus protection settings.

As I've said early, we plan on taking this game on a 5 year development trip starting in 2009. We've got some other projects on the site that we need to finish up first (such as our new ecommerce system - non-paypal).

One project I would like to see developed this year is the display of your Kingdom Buildings. Right now it is just numerical, but I would like to see this developed into a graphical respresentation of your kingdom. Perhaps start as Forest, to FarmLand, to Village, to Kingdom with all of the eye candy.

Eye candy, huh????
