'tis true to say that few on this planet are as besotted with celtic music as myself, however, tonight my son did tempt me sorely by sporting a newly purchased CD, "let it be - naked".

At first I was dismayed and thought that he was getting into something that young men should not think about, I was relieved to see that the album was by the Beatles, an early cut of some of their hits.

Naturally, I had to check it out.

So I have to confess that there are indeed times when a break from 24 hour a day celtic music is nice, but brings me back to appreciating the joys of celtic.

There, that's off my chest now. biggrin.gif

Yes, that's true, my kids love the Beatles, I grew up with them (the Beatles too) so I'm a big fan.

note.gif I wake up to the sound of music, mother Mary comes to me. Speaking words of wisdom. "Let it be" note.gif

Beatles rule!!! I grew up listening to 1962-1966, and am still in love with it. I loved it when I finally got to the point of getting it on CD.

Tassiecelt: One of the nice things about modern society is that diverse taste in music is no longer shunned, but rather the norm. Don't feel bad about listening to other music smile.gif When you start feeling bac, is when your CD collection starts shrinking. *That* would be a bad thing.

/me has loaded 1962-1966 Disc 2 in his DVD player

I have a wide range of musical interest. There are many great artists and music available that needs to be listened to; everything from classical, to rock; to religious to even childrens music.

But I have to say that I found my home with Celtic music wink.gif
