We will be doing some additional enhancements and work over the next few months for the game. I know this has been a long overdue process and we have not addressed all of the bugs and comments made in these forums, but we WILL be reviewing each and every post when we begin to enhance the system.
At this time, really our focus will be on formatting, graphics and adding sound events. We have already fixed some issues with the Medieval Radio and we hope to include that as a sound bar from within the game.
On the mobile app front, we have chosen a development environment (Adobe PhoneGap) that will provide the greatest compatibility across all platforms. This year we will begin to learn how to program using that App.
I know, year after year you have heard us talking about this game and that is true, but we still believe that given enough development this could be a really great retro game.
A couple of more tidbits.
(1) The behind the scene database algorithms will not need to be duplicated in a mobile version of this game.
(2) We are going to be building out our RLS - Real Life Sim, and studying about Medieval events that would happen in history that can be duplicated in game.
(3) Will be looking into balancing the game out with the buildings, market, cost of upkeep of your kingdom. Right now there are some unbalanced issues here and that would quickly make the game boring.
So, some good stuff in the works.
