First off where did all the topics go... there used to be more here!
Spirituality is a persons perception of how they fit into the whole scheme of things. It requires knowledge or understanding of one's complete surroundings and how those things are linked to one another and you. As one grows in understanding and perception, one can only change to fit into those ideals.
To limit one's growth in all things spiritual at anyone point along the lifelong path is not in one's interest. Seek all things of the spirit and apply them to your parochial existence.

I think a big part of spirituality is aknowledging that it is completely subjective, based on the indvidual. There is no "right" way that suits everyone.

Indeed, everyone has their own beliefs... But are not the fundamentals the same? The same core for which Shadows has already given examples Butterfly effect is a wonderous thing.

O'siyo Crooktooth, What a simple, to the point and excellent way of explaining yourself!~~ I agree with you on those words~~ How boring and mundane would life be if we all shared the same beliefs, ideas, thoughts and perspectives?! I believe spirituality is nurtured...it begins as an idea, becomes a seed, is planted, is feed well with an open-mind, begins to sprout and the 'growing' process never ends..It is with us until our days on Mother Earth cease...it is up to the individual to decide what it is they wish their 'spirituality' to become..for me the fact of the matter is, if one lives life as they wish without harming others, accepting all for what they are, never hindering others views/ideas then we are doing something right..comparison to others 'beliefs' and 'spirituality' will only confuse and hinder us..which in turn will cause us to become 'stale' and that is when an individual becomes 'lost'..without sounding touche', freedom truly is the key to a content body, soul, mind and spirit~~ ~~ Sty-U (stay strong)

Seems to me that is what I basicly said in less words.... LOL!
O'siyo Shadows, well, I had to say it in my way too~~ Plus, you are so much more articulate with your words than myself So don't get me for plagerism okay? ~~Sty-U

I have a problem with this statement, and perhaps shadows could perhaps elaborate in more words...lol. There is a "right for everyone...
We all have a right to live, and in that right we are privilaged to pray in what we believe in. This may or may not be the exact way theat our neighbor believes, but to the fact of the matter we may not have the same rite, but we all have the same right. Though I speak only on the topic of spirituality so it be noted I do not refer to religion or theocracy...specifically and yet to be plain, we do not all have the same belief, nor may we see that our neighbor believes in what is right versus our rite, BUT we have the right to believe in our own rite.

You will not go hungry until I starve, you shall not go thirsty as I have drink, you shall have my bed and be warm, you shall sit on my right as we feast in the great halls of our ancestors, and for when we die, and go to the great battle of valhalla....we shall stand together and fight ....at the end we shall look upon each other strewn with the blood of OUR enemies, and then....I shall call you FRIEND

Shadows isn't talking about civil rights here Sure we all have the same rights to believe as we will and whatever alse. What he's saying here is that there is no one belief system that is right for everyone. Just as you said that not everyone will believe the same way. There is no one 'right' way to believe that will work for everyone. As a result, not everyone will believe the same way.

I don't think the quote above is mine, it comes from crookedtooth. But yes Aae you are right in what you say. We all have the free will to choose our own path in the spiritual world.
