As some of you may know we had issues with some of our song tags when we first started streaming a few years back. With your help, we were able to clean up a lot of these tags, but I fear that there could still be some songs in our database that are still not correct. We recently had someone purchase an album through amazon.com (via our buylink) which did not contain the song on the CD. So, we have decided to review all of our 5,000 songs over the next few weeks to insure that the album information matches. If you know of any songs that are not correct, we would appreciate if you could let us know! (thanks!).

So, until further notice, if you plan on purchasing an album through amazon.com by using our buy links, please take the extra step of verifying that the song is actually on the album. Also, if you have any ideas on this issue, we would appreciate your feedback!

Seems like there are several where the cover art is mismatched. Matter of fact, I would currently have no clue what cover art to look for if I wanted to find "Summer Walkers", I'd end up pbly doing a search for what songs were where. I think there are some mismatches for versions of The Rankin Family's "Mull River Shuffle". As for mismatches on the links, I doubt I'd notice personally, because I'd always tend to check that anyway...

Slante'

Paul, you will find that Schooner Fare's CD Alive[Live] is subject to the same issue. The art is for the CD '15 years together' (or something like that). Of course, I went to the Barnes and Noble web page and it does not appear at all. However, you should know. as I enjoy your station.

The tag for "The Last Shanty" (song 10543, I believe) is incorrectly attributed to Great Big Sea. While they do play on that song, it rightly belongs to Celtic Connection from their CD "Higher." Their home page is www.celticconnection.ca.

Thought you'd like to know.
