Now I am actually counting hours. About 12 hours before husband will land. I can't believe it. He should right now be boarding his plane in Germany and should be home soon.
I just wish I could get the house done as quick
Hope to be online soon again, to let you know if he made it home okay.
Take care all of you and thank your for your support while he was gone.
Oh, I'm so happy for you!! Enjoy these wonderful days with him, knowing he's home for good now!! Nothing else matters. We'll all be thinking of you three, and will understand if it takes a while before we hear from you again. Just enjoy being together again!

Oh Monarch's Own! I am so happy for you. Please emerge from your bliss for a moment or two and tell us how you are and the Hubby one too! Hope to see you online again soon. Castlegrrl
Come away, O human child! To the waters and the wild With a faery, hand in hand, For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand. ~W.B. Yeats
Well, husband is home safe - and told me after he landed and we spend a few minutes together that he will go back to Iraq in Jan. 2007 - so I got him home for a year now.
Otherwise we are doing fine and he is not suffering from to much jetlag.
This morning I plan on having a german breakfast (what a great luck that I have a german bakery right around the corner).
So but now I go back to my husband for a wee while to have some time with him, even though he only watches TV. Monday our full workdays are starting again. I have to join him in some Army briefings. (Yuck for the briefings - Yeah for time I can spend with hubby).
He thanks all of you for your support and well wishes and sends his greetings to you and his thanks!
A new faculty member came to work in my Dept. (English, Literature and languages) and set his sights on me and for a few weeks we did everything together... Although he had told me he loved me - it was not in the sense most would take to the altar! ...It has taken weeks to just get through the day without crying at least once and I have to work with this man...I was so stupid - or was I? He tries to be sweet and flirty and act like nothing ever happened... What do you think women? I'm feeling better but want to make sure he knows that he may not treat me like there is still some string attached - and it borderlines on sexual harassment. Any feed back will be taken to heart . . .
Oh my, what started out to be a sweet romance certainly ended badly! I am so sorry to hear it, sweetie, but it sounds like you are going to be just fine. I am glad you were careful about your heart, and did not get too involved before you found out he isn't serious about you. Has the flirtiness stopped now? I've been on vacation for a week and have just now been trying to catch up on things here... I hope he's not bugging you still.

Super!! Glad he's home and I hope you two have a blessed autumn together now, plus a wonderful year of togetherness.
I've got five minutes of quiet so I'm trying to catch up on my posts.. I sure miss it when I can't visit here regularly! Hope everyone is well and ready for Thanksgiving which is next week. My new daughter-in-law and I are going to be doing most of the cooking this year, and we've moved the location of our festivities to my house instead of my mom's... mom turns 70 soon and that's not really old, but these days she doesn't handle multiple tasks very well. She hates trying to cook a lot of things at once and last year nearly all of the meal was 'take out' from the Honey Baked Ham store. Their dressing (stuffing) and casseroles just don't compare to homemade. She was glad when I offered to take over a lot of the preparations; I actually thought she might get mad but she didn't.
I'm a bit nervous about trying to do so much of it and am glad mom & the d-i-l and mother-in-law will be bringing food too.
What are your plans?
