Autumn's here Harvest moon shines bright or the fields Frost be upon the golden pumpkin Pumpkin pies and cookies fresh baked Picking apples Harvest time Bring in the last of the crops Prepare for the Harvest Festival Walk in the gentle wind Watch birds and listen to their songs as they prepare to fly south Watch all the critters and life prepare for long winter's nap Gather leaves of rainbows with a special friend or two Enjoy the day Rae copyright 09-27-2007 |

Hi John Where do you live? Do you not have fall? We live about 9 miles south of Wisconsin. We have four seasons and each season brings something special. Winter can get quite cold and summer quite hot and sticky with very high humidity. But still there is great joy to be found in the changing of the seasons. RebeccaAnn |

Hi Rebecca, My wife and I live in Northern New Jersey, where the seasonal changes are much the same, and enjoyable as well. So, having said that I wanted to live where you live, based on your poem, is as much about your state of mind, as it is about where you live. Thanks for the poem, JC |

Rebecca, So glad to see you posting more of your wonderful poems !! Reading this, call smell the Fall in the air. Leaves are starting to turn colors here a bit. You always remind every one how magical things really are, if we only slow down & really look at the important things. Also, thanks for the mail you sent me. God Bless & take care !! Slainte, Russ |
