I'm supposed to go to the parade in Pittsburgh with my sister, then either hit the Steel City Plaza party (they block off over a block of area, and the beer flows freely) or the one in Station Square. Haven't decided yet.
We will begin St. Patrick's Day with Prayer and Green Grits. We will fore go the festivities in Savannah. We will end the day with supper with our Church Family. St. Patrick's Day is my birthday and I do have green eyes, too. We will have a family gathering for a family birthday with my kids and grandkids.
"Green Grits" are a tradition in celebrating St. Patrick's Day in Savannah Georgia. Savannah is the 2nd largest St. Patrick's Day celebration after New York City. The color GREEN is found everywhere including the beer.

As some of you may know. Like last year. I was planning on renting a kilt, and going to McCarthy’s St Paddy’s day party. But I’m afraid I’m going to have to amend that, because St Paddy’s day conflicts with a huge impeach Bush demonstration in Washington, which I will be attending instead. Hey, maybe I’ll wear the kilt to that?
Question everything, JC
Ok, I gotta ask: "WHAT'S UP YOURS?"
God I love that band!

I am so happy to be here! I popped outta bed to come and havnt even checked my email or had a cup of coffee!(I did let the dog out tho) We had a snowstorm yesterday and last night and my hubby just went out to shovel 10 or 12". For this holiday I always make sure my kids and I wear green, and we usually have corned beef and cabbage(even tho I believe thats not really an Irish dish?)I color our pudding and drinks green and I always play Irish music all day. We do no drinking as my hubby is in recovery praise God.(by the way...how do I obtain a password for the serenity forum?) Kathleen
