As for me, I've got the classic Marine Jarhead cut. I used to have hair long hair in the 70/80s, typical rock band style. Even after the military, I let my hair grow, shoulder length at the longest at that point. But now, it's so nice to just wash and go. It always looks neat, and I cut it myself, saving around $20 a month.
By the way, the ladies still flirt anyway.

My wife is the same way. She's not a fan of long hair like you, but she doesn't like super short, i.e. buzzed, or bald either. I keep it as short as I can get away with. If I ever showed up at home with a shaved head I'd realy catch h***!
