Welcome Teresa!

May I ask where in Indiana do you live?

I ask because I live in Chicago, so most of northwest Indiana is basically suburban Chicago. When I smoked, I used to go over to Indiana (often the first place over the state line) to buy cigarettes.

Hallo Mike,

I live in Fort Wayne, In ....home of the Indiana Highland Games! That makes us neighbors of a sort ....about 3 hours apart ...depending on how fast one drives!

Thanks for the welcome, too !

No, I haven't.

I've only been to Champaign once for a high school band competition that was held at Memorial Stadium on the University of Illinois campus.

Teresa, I was on I-65 south of Merrillville the other day. I saw they've raised the speed limit to 70 in Indiana naughty.gif ...

Living in Chicago, It's actually closer for me to go to the renaissance fair in Bristol, Wisconsin, which is not too far from Kenosha.

Dundee,

Yer right, my master has to wear all those cloths. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

As for the grey kilt, I will keep looking. I would suggest getting in touch with bear kilts. He might be able to make one specifically for you.

Teresa, I hope men in kilts with wee hounds also fits the bill.

Cheers

*BluegrassLady, Tapadh leat! For being the first one tae welcome me! I hope to chat with you in the future! Oh, btw ...do you attend the Glasgow KY Highland Games ? They are one of my favorites!

*MDF3530-M'Lord Mike, Thanks again for being so kind to the newbies! I too have seen them posting new speed limit signs up on the interstate near me ...dare I say the thoughts that came to my head ....re: going faster on I-69 ? ...nope ..I better be good ...for now. Oh and ....Mike ...I have never been to the Bristol Faire ....is one that I have on a list of must attends !!!!

*Avonlea22-M'Lord Brian, Aren't celts great ...they meet ye for a moment and their welcoming ye tae the family and usually sharin a pint ! Grand !!! Thanks Brian!

*Rindy1202, Thank you and I look forward to getting to know you, as well!

*Madadh, M'Lord, :::she has to take her eyes from the lad in the kilt in order to type the response to him...tis hard::: Hmmm what...was I going to say ...Oh yes, Great picture and lovely creatures! I hope to have as much fun as you look like yer having in that pic!!! :::her apricot coloured lips curve up in a gentle smile:::

*dundee-M'Lord Jim, What is it ye do at the Faires? I used to own my own celtic clothing business and traveled about for 2 years....but cannae keep fine seamstresses ...and I cannae sew my way oot of a wet burlap sack!!!! I've nae been tae the Illinois Faire ...send me a link for it ...and maybe I can arrange to go this year!

*Castlegrrl Rachel lass, 'tis naething so true as the statement that ....All Men Look BETTER in a KILT !!!!!! :::her dark eyes glitter with delight at the thoughts and memories that come flooding to her mind:::

*Madadh, M'Lord ....ye said ...."Teresa, I hope men in kilts with wee hounds also fits the bill." Men with Wee WHATS ???? :::giggling::: ((thinking perhaps i should behave ...wouldn't want to offend anyone...on my second day here))

*M'Lord Haldur, Was it a good strange? And I don't know if I should be communicating with a self professed Trouble Maker ..... I might get in over my head !

*bigjimhainey- Jim M'Lord, perhaps ye've learned just how much fun we lassies from Indiana can be ...so now yer paying closer attention ????? Thanks so much for the welcome and when ye visit her kinsmen in IN ...stop by ...will leave the porch light on!
