Funny you should say that! I don't know if they still insure their beer now, but when I was a kid Coors ads said always chilled. They would insure all delivery tansports were refrigerated. There was a train wreck one night close to our home, though it wasn't in my dad's rail district, he was called in and told to bring any one he could find. One of the men my dad took, was my 16 year old brother. One of the cars on this train was filled with Coors Beer. In the wreck, the power had gone out and the beer got warm. When informed of their products' and rail car's condition they said bury it. My brother had a great sence of where he was at, marked the spot and develop a great fondness for Coors. He was very popular party guest. |
