LOL, When we were kids my dad use to love to drive and every weekend he'd announce we were going to Lorna Doone and off we would all pile in the car for a road trip. Sometimes it was for a day trip and other times we would go the entire weekend, totally unprepared, which really made my mom nuts. More than once we ended up in Canada from Connecticut on one of his Lorna Doone trips. Good memories. smile.gif

Thank you for your welcomes. Mailagnas maqqas Dunaidonas and oldraven.

caw, one of the greatest sounds in nature, it reflects back a personality and intellegence in each bird. I love it when they, the ravens gather outside my window and converse. It makes my wife crazy from the noise.

Mailagnas maqqas Dunaidonas, I went to see what this meant and google brought me to this site:

Its very interesting to read but what does this all mean?

Posted by: ctbard 21-Feb-2008, 01:01 PM
Yes, it is too cold, hey, Lunasa is playing in North Hampton, but it's on a Monday night, I think next Monday it is.

Posted by: UlsterScotNutt 22-Feb-2008, 12:04 PM
I would go!!! I'd rather be listening to music than working! thumbs_up.gif

Posted by: ctbard 25-Feb-2008, 10:38 AM
Well talk Brian into it, I really want to go, Lunasa is fantastic live.
And where did you get that cool coat of arms???
And if you like ravens, wait til you hear the ones in Ireland, they sound magical.

Posted by: UlsterScotNutt 25-Feb-2008, 03:54 PM
When and were is Lunasa playing?
I got the Clan Badge through the heraldic services on Celtic Radio!!!!!!!!
I love crows and ravens, Lynn thinks they are just noisy.
We have a resident hawk in the yard and every once in awhile about 6 of the crows just sit all around the hawk and make fun of him. I think they are calling him names!!!!!

Posted by: ctbard 29-Feb-2008, 08:26 AM
Lunasa is playiong next Monday night? in North Hampton, at somehere I think called the Iron horse?
No, crows are quite cool, their very intelligent. Arent they suppose to be guardians to the otherworld, or is it messengers? Let me go look that up, I'll be back.
I'll look up Lunasa too, oh! and on March 8th Dervish is playing at the same place we went before, reserved seating this time though.

Posted by: ctbard 29-Feb-2008, 08:35 AM
March 3rd at 7pm at The Iron Horse, 18.50.
ravens are the Keeper of Secrets, proctecters and messengers.
