Here in the desert it was a wee chilly on Christmas Day. But today? Wow! It has been a perfect day. Got up to 69 degrees! I was back in my capri pants and flip-flops! I love it!

I do feel very badly for those who are having to deal with such heavy snow and very cold temps though. I hope y'all are all doing ok and keeping warm and safe.

Allen, hope you feel better soon.

...nope, nope...sleet.

It just can't make up its mind out there. Man am I glad I got the winter tires on!

Hi Rindy, it’s been a while. Happy to hear that you had a nice Christmas, snowed in. Up here in NJ, I saw people walking around I short sleeves this Christmas. I think I’d rather be snowed in.
Take care,

Glad y'all are having the snow, as you can have it! LOL I am a true desert rat. But I bet it is so beautiful during Christmas.

Rindy, sorry you got snowed in, but at least you had pies to eat! I bet your doggie would like some too.

It was a little chilly this morning taking my sis to the airport, but we are warm compared to probably the rest of you. have fun with the snow but be safe!

If you need snow head to the U.P. of Michigan. We got 8 inches dumped on us on Friday and then it stopped. Half an hour to the west there is no snow whatsoever. Green grass, sunshine. Lake Superior isn't even frozen yet. Ski hills are happy now.

Not much happening up here. Temps are below freezing at night and close to zero during the day. Still lots of snow around, though!

My friend headed to Mexico for his first Christmas away from family. Right now, I wish I could wriggle my frozen little tootsies in a Mexican beach, but for Christmas? I don't know if I'm ready for that, but if anyone is buying, I'm willing to find out! biggrin.gif

We had a beautiful day on Christmas! Now the weather is changing. Looks like a "storm" is coming in. I know that 4" of snow isn't much to some of you, but in NM that is enough to shut down businesses! Last week it snowed for a whole day, and even the malls closed on the Tuesday before Christmas. I had 6 " at my house. That NEVER happens here anymore. Anyway, it's getting colder and looks like it's coming. unsure.gif

Our weather has been mild the entire month of December. Even broke a couple of records. Several days in the 60s to 70s. I would have liked for the grandkids to have snow on their Christmas break, but since they didn't, I hope this mild weather lasts the rest of the winter!! biggrin.gif

We have heavy rain, mixed with snow and storm, too. Should blow all demons and evil spirits into the BIG NOTHING laugh.gif
It's 4 pm here now but really dark for this time of the day. My son went out and "hunted" for our garbage bins which the wind had blown down the street, a huge branch broke down from the apple tree and it's getting worse. The air is smelling great, you can smell snow and I love that. Reminds me so much of the place in the mountains where I was born. We always had that clear, fresh smelling cold air.

Very very nice out today. I wore my capri's and short sleeved shirt. Just lovely weather for us here in the desert. Please don't hate us right now but this is the only nice weather we get all year. the rest of the time we burn up like burnt up carcuses in this desert. unsure.gif

Hope you all are doing well. Keeping warm, dry and safe.
