Did you know that it is an Irish American thing to do the corned beef?

An old time true Irish dinner in Ireland would have been boiled bacon and cabbage.

Actually tried to cook something from scratch and it came out all right!

Wifey saw that I was in over my head, so she helped me put together a Shepherd's Pie. The only "cheating" we did n=on it was we used ground beef instead of ground lamb. I would like to try it with the lamb sometime.

Honestly, it came out great! It was a lot more work than I expected (oh me on the microwave) but the result was quite tasty!!

Here is the link for the recipe that we used: https://www.thewholesomedish.com/the-best-c...-shepherds-pie/
