Religion can be a very touchy subject as well as politics. Please, no forcing of ones beliefs on others. Discussion of beleifs is encouraged, but I do not want anY one directly telling another that they will be ( insert word for not believing what they believe.

Please limit debating to the threads specifically designated for debate.

Please remember to treat others as you would want to be treated.

I will make this a private forum like the Pub and the Politcs forum if necessary.

Religion is for those who are afraid of going to Hell. Spirituality is for those who have already been there.

Hey I think we are all adults to express our opinion's whether anyone agree's with you or not...but we can discuss anything as long as everyone acts like adults instead of older children...that's what America is about..giving the person in front of you the finger and smiling at the same time.
Now let's go to scottland and break out the swords!

Those that don't respect others' right to their own opinion need to be warned to cool it .
But the sword play does sound like fun.

We all have rights but it is NOT RIGHT to step on each other in the Name of Having Rights!
Follow?
Well this is getting too heavy for me!
I like getting out the swords and off with their head myself...

Errrrm, I'm getting a little sick of the 'Scots kilted men/swords' type posts - just as offensive to me as religious posts are to many of the posters here biggrin.gif

1 We don't wear woad (well, only to go to rugby matches)
2 The kilts are worn on special occasions - and only by men (unless you are a female highland dancer)
3 We do not consider ourselves the master race
4 Our citizens call ourselves Scots or Scottish - not Scotts - that is one family from the Borders, not the whole nation.

My, my.... I really DO feel better now!

Pardon my ignorance but, what's a "woad"?

Thanks Jules

This site is a real education for me. I am planning to come to Britain next summer so I would like to know all that I can about the Isles before I arrive.

Thanks Again
