We are setting up a crazy night for all of us to meet in the Chat Room Wednesday night Nov th at 10:00 Eastern Standard Time...
It's always interesting to see what happens everytime someone comes in to the Chat room...but following the conversations are funny but confusing sometimes.

So meet in the ChatRoom Next Wed Nove 5th 10:00 est here in the US and let's see how many of us can get in there and make any sense...

Please RSVP if you can make it...it will also help in getting your 200 posts...
Thanks, see you there!

Annabelle,

You can count on me all dressed in my Olive Formals or is this a Casual Affair?

I was wondering if would be allowed to keep my usual seat?

Was there going to be Ice Cream and Cookies? Sure do hope so.

This is my Official RSVP

I would be Honored to Attend

I will try to remember to be there. If everyone types in a different color then it is easier to figure out who is who.

Posted by: oldraven 31-Oct-2003, 04:32 PM
Again, maryellen, I'll be silver. king.gif

This is my official RSVP

Old lyric to obscure song: "The talk was fast and clever...and the women all were fine!" ("Early Bird Cafe" - Jerry Hahn Brotherhood, circa 1969)

Ya gotta be a fast typist to keep up with the flow, but I'll try to be there, too! Buncha threads going on all at once.....bring snacks and liquids, too!

Can't promise anything, but I'll try to be there. I've dibbs on Navy!

Still having trouble opening that chat window and am not sure why. Perhaps if it's updated every five minutes I'm not waiting long enough for it to open?

What do you think the problem is?

Don't know how I got in on Thursday last either......timing again?

Did you load a password?
I know you have to pick a password when you set the thing up but now I know nothing about computers.

Annabelle

How to chat later especially Wed..be there or be square!

Posted by: McHaggis 01-Nov-2003, 12:34 PM
Don't even get a window to load a password, Annabelle.

Trivia: "Be There Or Be Square" - comes from the 50s and was Art Laboe's catch phrase in SoCal....back in the days of the teen dances at El Monte Legion Stadium and other venues......no I'm not THAT old!...I didn't turn teenage until 1960 but the radio was still a big part of my life.

Be there or be square is just a phrase a girl friend always says to me so I out of habit say it too. I didn't know where it came from....are you trying to make me as old as you?
Not going to happen in this lifetime, ha ha you are still older than me!

Annabelle

Posted by: McHaggis 01-Nov-2003, 02:10 PM
Never happen....I intend to stay older than you until it's time to shuffle off this mortal coil...but age, even yours, dearheart, is not how I value one's worth, especially in the female gender. Youngies or oldies....it's all about the person not the age.

Good answer Ron. 'Course Annabelle's only 18!

Posted by: McHaggis 01-Nov-2003, 03:43 PM
Iknow....she was born in what? 1985? Which explains how she could be teaching Anatomy in Salinas in the 70s.....NOT!!! laugh.gif

But, I DO have to watch that age thing, especially since I still think I'm yet somewhere in my 20s and most of the women I know are pretty darn young...barely legal in some cases.

I'm actually trying to "grow up" now that I'm 56 and not go out with women under, say 25. Somehow "dating" girls under that age is even beginning to sound to "pervy" to me, too!, no matter how "young" I think or act! angel_not.gif

I guess I grew "older" but not "up" in some cases....I'm still a big kid....a responsible big kid, but a kid nonetheless.

Sorry I can't be there, I have to work. But I know I'll be sorry for missing it. crybaby.gif. Maybe the next time.

What day's do you not work so I can figure a day that hits most of us? Or do you have a set schedule? I'll try something about 10 days out so we can check with your schedule ok? You will be missed this first time!
