Had appointments with two health professionals today. Both graduated high school with my son. They called me by my first name. I called one doctor and the other one ma'am.
Wow, those comparisons are so true. Even when I went to school in the 70s it was so different than it is now. If I went to school today and acted like I did then, I would be the one being expelled.
Faerydreamer - I can assure you that you would not be the only one of us 70's kids that would be on the outside looking in if we were in school today! Mind, as I think back on some of those escapades, it might still have been worth it!
On the subject of "You Know you're getting Old" I only have this to say: "You know you're getting old when your get up and go hasn't returned from the last time it got up and went".
