Ahh, Spring. Florida has the college Spring breakers (sunburns), rip currents and shark bites already. Val, we desperately need rain also. Alot of brush fires are breaking out. But pretty soon the rains should come, then we have to watch out for lightning. ohmy.gif

The Irish are direct descendents of Galicians and Basques who settled in Ireland thousands of years ago, hence the similarities in culture.

Take a look at this article from the Irish Times:

GaliciaCelta;

The Scots have always known that they originated on the Iberian Peninsula and migrated first to Ireland then finally Scotland.

PS; I think you should be posting this under The Celts not this thread.

Instead of finishing things around the house I'm sitting here, reading through the threads and posting unsure.gif rolleyes.gif ; spring is still far for us at this spot of the planet, I could do with a bit of sun, it's been a long and cold winter!

So hello to all and have a great evening and night. smile.gif

The first day of my vacation (from 2007!) has gone I have to admit, that I was really busy as a bee.
There was to remove some cubic meters loamy ground (to clear space for a drystone wall) and to fill it in at an other place to build a garden terace.
And the best: mechanical support (by a digger or such a thing) wasn't possible.
So I did it like our grandfathers - by a shovel, a wheelbarrow and streams of sweat....

There happens something...
