I look forward to hearing them, they will be playing at our Celtic festival this weekend. So I am really excited to get a chance to meeting them if possible. Are they more of a contemporary band or traditional?

Now you've upset me! Oh I wish they were playing here, that's part of the hassle of living at the end of the earth!

I suggest you look at their site, http://www.wickedtinkers.com/ it will give you some idea.

I've purchased one of their CD's not too long ago, and really enjoy it. I do find it difficult to listen to the CD in it's entirety in one sitting though. The tinkers have some strong music, and I can only take so much of it at once. I do enjoy them, though, I'd love to see them live some day.

Hello everyone,

I saw the Wicked Tinkers at the Pleasanton Highland Games and Gathering of the Clans over the Labor Day weekend. Really enjoyed their show. They're a lot of fun live. It's nice to see bands that care about having fun, assuming that's why they got into the music in the first place.

They seemed to be more of a hard traditional sound to me.
