Jason, You know you enjoy being a multi-instrumentalist! You should do an east coast tour, then you to could have your sound setup done by me! Pierce actually had 3 guitars and a couple of harmonicas, and a little A-B preamp thingie on the DI, but it was EASY compaired to those 6 person 25 instument sorts of groups!

Hey where are some of these bands playing? We have a pub called "Shamrocks" in downtown Macon, Ga that gets Irish or scottish bands occassionally...how about come down here. We have alot of crazy people who love the music...only problem is they tend to throw the tables to one side and start dancing...it's great! Oh yea, Im not suppose to say that cause you will think I'm crazy too. We have the Stone Mt Scottish Games the weekend of Oct 17th which is great for their music... come down to Middle Ga and play for us! Annabelle

Ok, you're right!!!! I guess it stems from my days playing goth/metal.. I used to bring 9-14 guitars with me each show. Some people call it an addiction, I call it A HOBBY! LOL!!!!!
M'wife asked me why I need so many guitars once. My reply was "simple, each one has it's own voice or sound. And that is needed, in some of the stuff that I play..." She just nodded her head and walked away... LOL!!!
I would love to play east coast!! But, unfortunately, this is a weeend gig when travel is involved. I do have the regular 8-5 job too. And playing locally during the week. So to make it really worth while we would have to make a fair share of $$$$ to make ends meet. But I would LOVE to play around you guys!!!! Put faces to the friends I only ever see typescript from.....

Hey Jason, Do you have one of those dibble things that takes out a plug of dirt so you can just drop the bulb in the hole, or do you use a shovel? I was given a BUSHEL (literally) of daffy bulbs and I need to figure out the most efficient way of doing this!

Me wife bougght one of those. They are nice if you are doing rows. Which are *really* neat/nice looking. But I normally use the ol' shovel and put about 6 bulbs per 6 inch deep, 8-10" wide hole. Add a little dry peat , and cover it back up. I'm really excited to see what pops up this coming spring!!! Since I was able to start with a clean slate after destroying the bushes.HAHAHAHA ( Sauramon like laugh....)
My sister and brother-in-law may take their kids to the pumpkin patch at Siegel's Cottonwood Farm in (kinda) nearby Crest Hill, IL this weekend. I may tag along. I went there two years ago. They have hayrides, a cornfield maze, a petting zoo, and some really good hot apple cider. Last year, my sister and brother-in-law took the kids there at my suggestion. They had a blast.

It's my Wife's Birthday on Saturday and I imagine she will expect me to spent it with her. I don't know why? We have been married for a little 27 years now and she doesn't go fishing with me on my Birthday.

Working. We have to do some electrical work on the plant Sunday, so we don't shut things down during the week. I won't be doing much, just saying things like. Ya? Que falta? Vaminos, hay juego en la tely.
(Now? What's left to do? Lets go, there's a game on TV)

Football, my favorite time of the year. Usually move the tv out under the rancho, fire up the barbecue and then spend several hours peacefully watching, drinking beer and cooking some good animal meat.
Just got back from an excelent contra dance. All day tomorrow volunteering at the Tidewater Traditional Arts Festival. Mostly music, some dance, some traditional crafts groups(weavers, spinners, blacksmiths, etc), some living history groups(the authentic reenactor types), and the SCA(just for fun) We even have a group thats doing a play about Robert the Bruce who are going to come and do some coreographed (sp?)sword fighting. Should be fun!
My husband and I are going to RailRoad Days today. Lots of food, history and entertainment.
My favorite time of the year is fall. The trees are now showing off their colors and the air is cool and crisp. Time for a fire in the fireplace and making caramel apples for the grandbabies. LIFE is Good! I hope all of you have a good weekend.

My sentiments, exactly. (No grandbabies, though.)
