If my reality
Is but a dream
And my dreams
In truth reality
Then I am dead
And to the pits
Condemmned.

If my reality
Is but a dream
It is a dream
To ease my suffering.

For in my dreams
Lurk haunting shadows
Of those I've wronged
Or sinned against
And those who in
My glory search, I
Snatched their very
Life away.

If my reality
Is but a dream
Then let me
Dream for Eternity
And never face reality.

Yours is a very deep poem my friend...and one of sorrow.
I would much prefer to face reality than dream for eternity as my dream since eternity will become a reality.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem.
