I wondered what happened to you. Not much happening here at CR.net. Pretty much a ghost town now... I am rarely here if at all anymore. |

I just love her music also. Although I don't own any cds yet, I need to purchase them (I listen to her music online, Yeah, I am a cheap bastard!). FYI, haynes9 saw her in concert a few years ago. Maybe he can update us. |

I'll set up a flickr account and post some photos when the time comes. Then you will see what a good time it is and plan to come east next year! |

No discussions on fishing since 2010. Wow. This has been an odd year for fishing for me. I have only been out four times so far and got no bites. Nuthin'! |

Does anyone have a friend or family member struggling with dementia? My FIL does and it has turned him into a mean SOB. To the point that he and my wife no longer speak to one another. We are also dealing with Parkinsons in my MIL. FIL does not deal with her disease in a calm, civilized, loving manner. He thinks she is faking her symptoms. Dementia has not allowed him to deal with these changes in life. It is a mess. |

I recently purchased a Mac Book Pro laptop, and therefore later purchased Aperture. Aperture is similar in many ways to Adobe Lightroom. I have never used LR but I certainly do love Aperture! |

I will be there! This will be my fifth year as a volunteer. I'll post a report when the time comes.
The city of Dublin, in my opinion, is not so quaint. It is an affluent community that is growing fast. Personally, I could not afford to live there! |

The DIF is August 2, 3 & 4. Dublin is a (ritzy) suburb of Columbus. Here is the website: www.DublinIrishFestival.org |

I am wondering if web forums such as CR.net have a shelf life, so to speak. That is, they will thrive for a period of time, but for whatever reason, participation drops off. I once read that a typical shopping mall only has a 20 year life span. That after that period people tend to shop somewhere else and the mall is eventually torn down. Maybe CR.net has outlived it's usefulness? Just my two cents... |
