Celtic Radio Community > Technical Support > Site Restored

Our apologies on the problems with the site the past few days and restoring the site to July 22nd.

Unfortunately, a bad piece of software called NetLimiter2 really messed up our server. It is still not 100% fixed, but we feel the site should be stable with what we have right now.

Thank you for doing what you had to do to keep all of us and the site safe!

One thing though, you might want to explain that in the process of restoring the site to July 22nd a lot of posts have been lost. People have been wondering why their replies to threads have been "deleted", or entire posts disappeared.
Keep up the good work here! Celtic Radio is very unique. A place for great music and interaction with like minded people!

Thanks for your understanding this past week. We still can expect some problems with the site as we are not convinced that our radio server is stable.

Our plans are to reinstall the operating system to a more stable version. Hopefully once that is completed we can resume normal operations.

Our apologies.

No apology is necessary. Were all of this up to me it would have been in a smoldering heap a long time ago and beyond resurrection.

Thanks for all of the work!

Are you kidding? You guys do an awesome amount of work on this site and there's very little problems with it which is great.

One thing I did want to mention though, I can't delete any of my emails. Curious if this has something to do with the parent problem. I don't want to reset my email if I can help it.

Sorry to hear of all the difficulties. I was caught in a time warp this past weekend because of 'em in the Medieval Kingdom game. Glad things are more steady now.

With difficulties comes opportunity. And I think because of the difficulties we experienced with a "out of control" piece of software, our server is much more stable. Highlander Radio has been running really nicely the past 48 hours.

Ok, no more changes to the server! smile.gif
