Hi Stoirmeil- cold is cold no matter what- I understand how you feel.. Its not the -30's but that is still cold.. Right now its 8 degrees..when it did get up to 14 after that cold snap we had that was a heat wave. Keep up the good work on your whistle....

Hello all!

I'm over at my parents' house right now. I had to make a long distance phone call and didn't want to do it on my cell phone. I had to call my insurance agent (his office is in Rockford, IL) and get a new insurance policy for my new car. One of my mom's old bridge group ladies died, so my parents bought her car from her estate. I now drive a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am. White, four door with power windows/locks, AM/FM/CD. I'm getting used to handling a V6 engine. My old car was a four-cylinder.

Evidently, someone in my building has a wireless router, because here I am!

When it comes to this year's Christmas shopping, I BE DONE!!!


I did it all today. iTunes gift cards for my friend and brother-in-law, First Time: The Count Meets The Duke CD for my dad, a Target gift card for my sister, a travel coffee mug for my mom (and a Target gift card for her birthday, which is today), a Dr. Seuss book for Megan, a toy car for Jay, and a "baby Belle" ("Beauty and The Beast") doll for Amy.

With my new car having an in-dash CD player, I no longer needed the tape deck adapter in my car, so I brought it in, put it in the tape deck in my stereo and plugged it into my computer, so now I can listen to my MP3s without using headphones! Now though I'm listening to a podcast of the Air America Radio show The Majority Report.

Since my home internet access has been out since Thanksgiving (modem) and I will be out of the office for two weeks, you'll probably not hear from me for a while. Not that anybody woulda noticed...

In that case, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

So many ar busy this time of year I really hate to say your missing but you will be missed and sooner or later something will be said.....

Rindy, where do you live? I think I might like to visit there someday I love cold weather. People look at me crazy around here (Indiana) because I go out all the time on weekends wearing shorts and a light jacket no matter how cold it gets.

HI everyone. I've been sick with pneumonia this past week. I went to the doctor after I started to feel like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I had started to feel better and I even went to our Christmas Social. I had fun but I was so tired. Someone said I looked a little gray around the edges. I went home afterwards and slept for 12 hours. I went to work but felt horrible. So I finally went to the doctor. So here I am no shopping done. Oh well.

My 2nd daughter is having problems with her car. My hunny is out seeing what is wrong with it. Thank goodness it is a nice day outside. I'm so glad I have someone who can fix cars it sure has saved us a bundle.

Mike congratulations on your new car. It sounds like a nice ride.

HI Rindy girl I hope you are staying warm.

Oh yeah my daughter has finally made a decision on time and place for her wedding. I booked a photographer, and piper so now all that is left is to hire the harpist.
