Here's the one I'm using currently. It is the interior of St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin.

"It was a dark and stormy night... Suddenly, a shot rang out"

The only writer in the world for whom the above line is a good way to start off a story. Even if it never completely worked for him. Even the time or two he got a completed manuscript, he didn't manage to get a publishing deal. What a shame. Snoopy rules! How many beagles you know who can be:

A WWI ace (good enough to best the Red Baron)
Womanizer
Author
Disco king
shortstop (for the worst baseball team on the planet)

What else now? I know I'm missing about 90% of his professions. Think he's done figure skating and hockey too hasn't he?

A couple of other ones I just thought of:

Joe Cool, the beat poet
Pro golfer
Tennis ace
Bird Scout leader
Blanket snatcher

Snoopy rules!

I added some paintings to the "Desktop Enhancements" section of the Downloads area.

If you don't want to go there, I'll post them here...

Right now I have a background from one of my favorite artist, Linda Bergkvist.

You can find more of her art here.
